Rockford native Paul Nicolosi concentrates his legal practice in municipal law and finance, business law and transactions. He has fought for groundbreaking changes in municipal finance techniques, advocating successfully on behalf of the firm’s clients for sales tax rebate legislation. His expertise covers the full range of issues confronting municipalities, from eminent domain matters to zoning and employment issues to police due process cases; he has successfully defended police chiefs in due process disputes. In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Nicolosi also has extensive experience founding, building, operating, and investing in non-public companies. He is co-founder, president, and CEO of The Buckley Companies, which provides technical expertise and planning to real estate investors and developers, and is co-manager and member of Buckley Partners LLC, which develops and owns commercial real estate in northern Illinois. He also is manager of Buckley Capital Management LLC, and a principal in a number of closely held businesses. In 1992, Mr. Nicolosi founded Midwest Title & Surety Agency Inc., later Stewart Title Company of Illinois after its acquisition in 1997 by the nation's fourth largest title underwriter. During his tenure as President and CEO, the title company grew to 13 offices in northern Illinois, employed 110 people, and handled nearly 15,000 transactions annually. The company was a leading contractor for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and a leading title insurance agency in the state of Illinois. Mr. Nicolosi is a 1987 graduate of Loyola University and received his J.D. in 1990 from Northern Illinois University College of Law. Mr. Nicolosi also is active on several company boards and participates in regular company reviews for consideration by venture capital firm. He is a member of the Winnebago County Bar Association, and has been asked to speak before the Illinois Municipal League and Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association.

Gino Galluzzo is a Rockford native and respected member of the Northern Illinois legal community. Mr. Galluzzo’s legal skills and experience are broad-based, encompassing all areas of business law, including in particular commercial and real estate transactions and providing municipal law counsel to five Northern Illinois communities. He is highly experienced in the intricate legal and legislative matters that regularly challenge municipalities. His municipal expertise encompasses providing advice and counsel regarding conflicts of interest and ethics rules as well as handling real estate acquisition matters, such as negotiation, documentation, tax increment financing, and eminent domain. He regularly attends committee meetings and zoning appeals and prepares ordinances and drafts resolutions necessary for action by municipalities. On behalf of our municipal clients, Mr. Galluzzo also has successfully directed a number of sizable and complex multi-million projects from conception through all phases of execution to completion. Mr. Galluzzo is manager of Buckley Capital Management LLC, and co-founder and vice president of The Buckley Companies, which provide technical expertise and planning to real estate investors and developers. He is a member of the Justinian Association and earned a B.S. degree from Northern Illinois University in 1993 and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1997. He has been asked to speak before the Illinois Municipal League of the Illinois Municipal League Legislative Committee, and is an Executive Member of the Illinois Tax Increment Association.

Gregory E. Cox concentrates his practice in the area of civil litigation, business transactions, and real estate development. Mr. Cox has been practicing in the Rockford area for more than 20 years; his experience before the circuit and appellate courts of Illinois and Wisconsin includes both jury trials and appellate argument. He began his practice as an Illinois Assistant Attorney General and, subsequently, in private practice, has represented clients in major civil litigation primarily representing health care institutions and physicians. He has participated in alternative dispute resolution both as a party representative and as an arbitrator, and has acted as special counsel to Winnebago County , Illinois , and Walworth County , Wisconsin . His business experience includes risk management and general counsel work in the health care field and involvement with real estate development. Mr. Cox is a 1982 graduate of Ripon College in Wisconsin and received his J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1985. He has served as a school board member for Durand Community Unit School District #322, is a volunteer EMT with Winnebago County Fire Protection District #1, and has also been a member of other local boards and foundations. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, the Winnebago County Bar Association, and the American Society of Health Care Risk Management.
